Our Policies
Tuition is based on the total yearly cost for classes. Tuition may be paid in full upon registration; or for convenience and affordability, payments may be made in monthly installments. On the monthly installment plan your annual total is divided into 9 monthly payments (see additional info in Payment section below). There is a five percent (5%) discount for annual tuition paid in full by September 10.
Parents are financially obligated by the terms of registration to pay for their full annual tuition for the dance season. Monthly tuition is never prorated but determined from an average of entire classes for the season.
There is no reduction in tuition for months with holidays or due to absence or illness. Fees and/or tuition are not refundable, including costume fees.
$25.00 Nonrefundable registration fee per student.
Children’s Division Classes: $65 per month / Annual Tuition with a 5% discount if paid in full by 9/10 is $555.75
Payment: Monthly tuition payments are due the 1 st of each month. A late fee of $15 will be assessed if payment is received after the 10th. After completing online registration, you may access your password-protected student account and set up automatic recurring payment by bank draft or credit card. This is a simple, convenient way to be sure your monthly tuition payments are made on time. Payments are also accepted in the office during office hours. We accept payment by check and cash.
Attending
Withdrawal Policy
Enrollment for the school year means we are counting on your child’s attendance and participation and have planned accordingly. If you are considering withdrawal from a class or the school, we encourage you to make an appointment to discuss this with your child’s teacher or the School Director at The Weaver Center.
Withdrawal requests must be made in writing to theweavercenter@gmail.com. One month’s notice is required. Billing to your child’s account will continue until written notice is received and during the 30-day notice period.
Class Attendance
Promptness: Students should arrive 5 and 10 minutes prior to their class time, dressed in proper uniform with hair in bun or pulled back from face if too short for a bun. Please allow for restroom time prior to the beginning of class.
Tardiness
Students are expected to be on time. Late arrivals disrupt the class and late students miss necessary warm-up exercises. Students arriving late should ask the teacher if they may join the class. They may be asked to observe that day if they are more than 15 minutes late.
Excessive absences or tardiness can severely hamper a student’s progress and result in injury; therefore, poor attendance may force The Weaver Center to place a student in a lower level or to repeat a level.
Contacting the office: Please remember that when you call the office you may get our answering service.
Please leave a message including the student’s name, class level, and reason for absence.
Our number is 478-259-7881.

2nd Year Pointe, Level I and II
It is important to make sure pointe shoes always fit correctly to ensure the dancer is supported and safe while dancing. It is very dangerous for dancers to wear pointe shoes that are too big or have room for growth. For a dancer to work successfully in pointe shoes, they must be very fitted to the dancer’s foot to support the foot properly. Any extra space allows the dancer’s foot to shift and move inside the shoes. This movement can cause many injuries such as blisters, calluses, strained tendons and ligaments, and bruised toenails. Never sacrifice safety for comfort by wearing a shoe that is too large. Darlene at Bobo’s Dance Supply is an excellent pointe shoe fitter.
